NEC Corporation and NEC de Colombia S.A. provided the Peruvian National Police with NeoFace Watch facial recognition software for this year’s Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Week in Lima, Peru. The software was deployed to enhance video surveillance at venues where national leaders gathered and related events took place. APEC is a 21 member economic forum established to accelerate regional economic integration throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
